Only one more day until we hit the road. The final count today is 2400 people playing mas with Saldenah.
Last night King and Queen finals were held at Lamport Stadium. How did Saldenah do? One word. AWWEESSOOOMMEEE. First in the female individual. First in the male individual and Queen of the bands. My brother Anton came second but did a great job building and portraying. As soon as he came off stage, I told him that is how you dance a mas. I was very proud of him.
Congrats to Curtis, Nick, Sobes and the whole crew. Great job on the 2 individual costumes. Their was a minor problem with the male costume but everything worked out. All that is part of de mas…..

I was so proud of our Queen. Congrats to Pat Horsham for finally getting that win. Congrats to (Banner) Peter Tang for building such a pretty costume. It was AAWWWEEEESSSOOOMMEEEE. Banner is a GENIUS. TRUST ME! Congrats to Ronny Saldenah for assisting Banner. LOL.
When Banner told me he was building a Chandelier – I really felt that it was going to be something special. That is why I decided to help him. From day 1, I got a chance to see how a REAL mas man works. I have alot of respect for Banner, he is one creative dude. Did you not see the Chandelier? You decide….. As I listened to the results last night, and I heard the Queen won -all that hard work really payed off. I was pumping my fist like Michael and Kobe. It was like I won a championship.
Speaking of Championship, ONE MORE DAY until the road. 16, 16,16,16.
